Climate change is predicted to bring about an unprecedented burden of diseases, disabilities, and deaths. It is a complex problem that will evolve unpredictably and deferentially over different contexts, with the highest brunt borne by the most marginalized and disadvantaged. The complexity demands flexible, context-specific adaptive actions. People can play a crucial role in shaping these responses.
We work to improve our knowledge about the health impacts of climate change (e.g. extreme heat and air pollution). We also work to empower communities to act and advocate for locally relevant policies and programs.
