Our country has the largest number of young people in the world. There's a tremendous unmet need to address their sexual health issues. Because of the social stigma and taboo, they do not have any non-judgmental space where they can talk to someone, especially about issues related to relationships, sexuality, partner abuse, etc. Many continue to suffer in silence. We have a program where we provide sexual health counseling to young people. A NESTOR provides counseling who is a sensitive listener, who can listen, help the person reflect on potential solutions, and, if required, provide linkages to other services in some situations.
Your support will help make free quality counseling available for young people. The cost of supporting one person for counseling would be 600 Rs.
