Public Health Research Institute, Mysore proposed to collaborate with Prayas to collect some preliminary data to support a larger study on male circumcision (MC) among high-risk men. They intended to conduct rapid assessment on the issue of acceptability of MC among men attending STI clinics.

Objective:

• The objective of the rapid assessment study was to find out level of knowledge about HIV, HIV prevention strategies and about some new prevention technologies currently being tested.
