ABSTRACT

This article give shades light on the contemporary trends in emergence of STDS, syphilis and HIV in particular. Although the prevalence of syphilis has been observed in a declining stated, lately the picture has been changing. This article takes a look at the causal parameters behind the re-emergence as well as calls out for the need of behavioral interventions along with bio-medical interventions.
